I started teaching myself how to draw when I was 5 years old by copying Norman Rockwell paintings.

I started out studying architecture out of high school, did that for 3 years. Worked as an architect for a year.

Was already into photography and always played around with that.

Switched from architecture to fine art, drawing, painting and sculpture. Did all of those things till I was 33 years old, then suddenly stopped.

Focused on black and white photography around then and let that slowly die off. But I always kept shooting, something.

Got into writing about fishing and hunting and slowly refocused on photography.

Plus I spent 38 years working in the Graphic Arts Industry. Which sucked, but it payed the bills.

Plus I read alot. A real lot.

All of this to explain what you’ll see on this site. The stuff I think of and do away from the photography.

In my head, that all makes sense.
