Re: crock o shit

You have to piss off the right people Sam, then one day you'll show up and be denied access, just like I was. Here's how to do it... Keep linking to posts, but you have to do a post with St. Charles in it, Les Arends, downtown Aurora or the west side of the Route 34 bridge in Oswego. Any pictures ...

Re: Dupage 5/19

Thanks guys! I don't make it up river past Plainfield much anymore but probably should. It's hard when the fishing is so good down here. This rain already put the gauges at Shorewood to 1200 and with more rain coming it'll go even higher. Was hoping to float the Mazon Friday but its running high as ...

Dupage 5/19

I was able to make it out for an 8 mile float trip on the Dupage yesterday. Water levels continue to drop but the water is a little more stained than earlier in the week; even with this clarity is around 4-5 ft and there was quite a bit of algae floating throughout the water column. It seems some ...

Re: Dupage 5/15

John how much depth do you need for a drift boat; I would love to get out with you sometime! If not a drift boat I have a spare kayak; nothing special but it floats and I have a drag chain set up on it.

Dupage 5/15

Stopped off at Seil Rd in Shorewood after work today. Fished for about 45 mins and caught two smallies 18 &16" and a very aggressive largemouth taped at 13". Fish are still on beds and used a white strike king tube. Even the smallies seemed much more aggressive today. I would have stayed longer but ...

Re: Anyone know the clarity of the Mazon these days?

I was there about a week ago and the water looked great. Planning to do a float there soon but prob not until the spawn is over.

Re: Dupage 5/8 - Good to be back!

Do you know any put ins and take outs for a drift boat???? John How much water do you need John? Most stretches have at least a few sections of very shallow water; shallow enough where I scrap the bottom of the yak. From what I remember 111th through 135th has pretty decent depth throughout but I ...

Dupage 5/8 - Good to be back!

I was able to get out for a float trip with my buddy Bart on Wednesday on one of my favorite lower stretches of the Dupage. Weather was amazing and the fishing was even better!! Water levels are just about perfect and about 4-5 clarity. Smallies are starting to move up on beds and will most likely ...
