new waders

hey guys, first off a belated merry xmas to all and a great new year...hope all is well with everyone............I got some xmas money that I would like to put toward a new set of waders....advice???...I heard the Simms brand is pretty good...any suggestions, comments , would be apprecitated... and oh sorry Ken, I know you've probably have answered this questions a million times.. in fact I believe you have a not so old post that answered some guys question when it came to some basic equipment concerning wading... but I can't find it.... oh well....thanks in advance EdK

Found it buried in the middle of 3 pages of a post.
I mentioned back in October when I wrote it that I should make it an announcement.

and thanks for the info... Simms it'll be....I'll be out on in some river quite a bit this coming season....the gods willing....but I won't be crawling around much.(learned my lesson with the last set of waders) ...so the waders should last a bit longer...hopefully

I'm going to be getting back into fighting shape the next few months. I've got some heavy duty exploring to do this year. Have to check out some out of the way creek areas. Initial forays look pretty intense. One area looks like a solid wall of green when you walk up to it early summer. I backed down last year. This year I'm bringing the machete.

Im always down for some creek exploring :lol: . If you need a partner you know where to look. Remember last year before my brother and i went to the apple and you gave me some maps and you told me of that area with the huge pool that we wouldnt be able to get around. We'll it wasnt pretty but we made it. I think they were stinging nettles, but trying to get through sticking your hands in those things it was painfull. I didnt get it as bad as my brother as his hand went numb. If you look back i think the pictures of the cave was from above that big pool.
You can never fish the same river twice, by the time you get back it's not the same river.
