getting old

And you can do that here. Off fishing topic and off the wall subjects and plain bitch sessions. Sometimes you just need to have an outlet. Only registered users can see this forum.

getting old

Post by Norm Minas »

I read Dale's report today and have some concern. I hope missing some fish was due to being distracted by something going on around you and not the slowing of reflexes due to age. Some of us are still quicker than the fish but I won't mention any names in either case. :D :P
What a long, strange trip it still is .

Put a glide in your stride, a dip in your hip and come onto the mother ship .

My daughters make fun of me because they can't understand how someone can be severely ADD and OCD at the same time.

I'm just compulsive about my distractions.

I'm always distracted out there lately. I fish so I don't feel stupid wading in water up to my chest just for the fun of it. One of the ones I did catch was when I had my rod under my arm, holding up my vest, 4 feet of water and I was trying to get around and not trip over some new lumber that had washed down the creek.

That's when I need someone following me around taking pictures. Entertainment at it's finest.

I believe between the two of us we can still wear out the river fishing pups.

The pups don't even try anymore. Too much need for instant gratification from the younger generation, spoiled by all the electronic crap they grew up with.
