Re: Back from Vacation
Hope you like high water.
Found one creek that is close to being back to normal. I think it may be muddy, but I gotta get out of the house.
Pictures?

Yeah ken, I stopped by Big Rock this morning and the creek did not look to bad. It was fairly clear and running a tad on the harder side but not bad at all. I thought it would be a little higher with the rain, however I'm not sure how far North that rain made last night. Just thought I'd let you know in case you have not checked it out yet.

Re: Back from Vacation
I drove over Flagg Creek a couple times today, looks high, muddy, and fast.... kinda how I like my women.
... who am I kidding, they only have to be breathing.
Couple spots on some feeder creeks I know of that dump into large oxbow areas or retention ponds that I may hit early Saturday morning...... unless I get a hankerin' for perch n' eggs.
Yum, I think I just made up my mind.
Oh I'm sorry, was this thread about something else?
Sam,
I spent 3+ years fishing San Diego Bay, there is a HUGE population of bonefish that reside in the shallow tidal backwaters of that bay. Awesome fish to fight on light tackle, extremely spooky, and just sooo damn fast. I'm glad you got to experience them, truly one of the oceans finest specimens.

Yeah when the creeks start swelling into the lakes and back waters it creates some unpredictable, mostly good fishing for me when it comes to lakes, usually right around the mouth. Bone fish must be a big game fish in the Bahamas. Seems whenever I see deep sea fishing there it is usually bone fish and I believe the keys are like that also. Me and the wife and kids are going to Jamacia in a couple of weeks I'll have to keep my ears open to see if its popular down there. My 10yr old and I will be snorkleing as much as possible as we become addicted to it once we get to the hotel.
