A good book for beginners or experts alike.
I received Tim Holschlag's book River Smallmouth Fishing for Fathers day and I must say it is an enjoyable read . There are a lot of chapters and even if you have this Smallmouth thing all figured out.... (LOL & LMAO) it gets you thinking about what your doing and what he is suggesting. A little bit of everything in here from boat rigging , favorite lure and river reading. I believe he has taken stuff he has written from his other 2 books and added some content into this book. Not a lot of good river smallmouth fishing books out there but I would say this is worth the money.
I am Kevin Summers and I have a Fishin Addiction....

I have an autographed copy of Stream Smallmouth Fishing (Is River Smallmouth Fishing different?). I think it was a raffle item at an ISA Blowout that I won.
I have to admit I've never read it.
It can't be that good. A couple of years later I guided him on the Fox when he did a Midwest tour. He wouldn't listen to a single suggestion I made on fishing the Fox. So he got skunked.
I had to quit fishing and cast to all the lame spots because I kept getting hits and didn't want to show him up.
I should read it just to see what not to do, you think.
I just flipped through it. Some interesting looking hand drawn diagrams of fish holding spots with some descriptions. I will go read those.
Tim Holschlag getting skunked on Mill Creek. How the hell do you get skunked on Mill Creek?
