Nice write-up Andrew. That wind really messed with me too. On a few days, we were getting sustained 25 mph winds.....ugh. I have easy access to Wild Rice lake but no boat so what I normally do is strap on the waders and fish the north shoreline by the public access boat ramp--I've picked up some mid 30s muskies and nice bass there over the years--but this year that darned wind from the south wouldnt allow me to do my thing. Oh well, there's always next year.
