That was quite a rant....

And you can do that here. Off fishing topic and off the wall subjects and plain bitch sessions. Sometimes you just need to have an outlet. Only registered users can see this forum.

That was quite a rant....

Post by Special Ed »

... that Mr. Bowman posted that he received from you Mr. Ken.

Work been a bit stressful? Not enough time on the water? Don't stop writing about it, especially if you get stuck working more and fishing less.

I know for certain that I have not gotten into the river enough this year. I spent 5 hours last night hammering really nice bass in a pond, but I really didn't even enjoy it. Not like I used to.

I have some obligations to take care of the next two weeks. Hopefully, after that I can find the time to FINALLY get those new waders wet......

I hope we cross paths again soon Mr. Ken, and until then keep-on keepin'-on.

I thought it was quite tame. Didn't think he would run the whole thing. I wouldn't say work is stressful. Being broke causes some, but that's the story of my life lately.

Mainly a time issue. Don't like pissing it away like I am.

Saw a guy at Indian Trail today wading the west side. Stopped to tell him he was wasting his time. Fish from the bridge down on the east side. A couple of places to concentrate his efforts was mentioned. That's what I mean about my reports to Dale. Where do you want to go, I got spots I don't go to anymore.

I've got Monday off. Lovely wife is working. Hoover Forest Preserve exploration if the water don't rise, otherwise, I don't know yet. Maybe North Aurora. Maybe Mill Creek. Maybe a long stretch down from the shit plant or from the SWK canoe launch down.

Hoover, first choice. Hope it don't rain too much. It will be a death march, but I can use one.

hopefully things will work out for you and all the weekend warriors will spend thier holiday by the dams. And to think i was bummed because my streak of 6 plus weeks straight of fishing everyday got busted because i've been sick the last couple days.
I'll offer up prayers to the gods/goddesses that the employment situation gets better.

Norm,
I'm working, but it's 6 days a week 10 to 12 hours a day. Doesn't leave much time for anything else. Just trying to play catch up financially now. It sucks.
