East and north of Branson. Straight sough of Rockaway Beach, if that makes any sense. He lives there. The 40 acres he owns isn't far from there. Haven't been down there yet, but he's up on a big hill not far from whatever river that is that makes Bull Shoals. Some day we'll get down there.

I'm in Oakland, AR
2 hr east of Branson but its only ~90 miles.
5 miles south of MO/Ark border
you'd fit in too well down here.

Re: One of Those Tangent Threads
Speaking of getting off the grid, I was up in the up by iron Mt Michigan and thought how it would be a great place to be if the shit hit the fan and you had to live off the land. Lots of Game, Fowl and fish.... from what I could see not too many people or JOBS. I guess I am considered OLD Too but I keep telling anyone who is young , they will be lucky to be my age , if they can get there, and I am still spry for being the double 55... Kevin

I saw the same while up in the UP visiting the Porcupine Mts.....saw deer, grouse, porcipines....and a lot of run down houses and no jobs. Not sure how people survive up there.
