I think I can piss more than 104 cfs...
At this rate I wonder what the percentage of effluent is vs. actual river water...
I'm planning a wade for Thursday evening, lets hope there is still a little water left to get my feet wet.

Waterguy over on WCF stated previously that effluent can be as much as 30% of total flow in times of low water. I expect this is unusually low water... ask him, he might just tell ya. Or don't, maybe it's better not to know.

It went back up to 159, as of now. 104 is the new low. I wonder if it can break the 100 mark.
Went out the other morning. First hour or so, one largemouth, 6 or 8 smallies caught (can't remember) 13 missed.
After that it died. Was off the water by about 9.
Find the riffles that lead into a big long pool and you'll find the fish. I was in crotch deep and deeper water quite a bit. I started at around 5 AM, maybe a little later. By 7 it all died and it was just a walk down the river. Same looking water further down was barren. Odd.
River had a good 18 inch clarity, but the damn floating weeds were a pain in the ass.
Drove over Orchard on the way home today. Lots of that green stuff in the shallows, the stuff Bob Rung from the IDNR says I'm imagining. Other wise the deeper parts looked pretty good.
Go to the flats for a sure thing. I bet the walleye are still there. Early or late or cloudy would be best.

typical small WTP can outflow about 2M gallons a day.
thats about 260,000cu-ft.
per second thats about 3 cuft/second.
thats just one small plant.
One like Geneva, Batavia, Aurora or others will be significantly higher flow.
So based on a flow on 150cuft/s.
treated waste water could easily be 30% of the total flow from all the discharges..
closer to the shit plants it will be higher before it gets diluted..
Don't forget when fishing in Batavia. Geneva, elgin, algonquin, etc.... are all upstream.
Lets not forget the chain and wisconsin and homes with septic tanks...
my $0.02

You're full of shit.
Oh wait that's me... I should have showered after my wade last night.
