Sorry for your loss Ken. It sucks losing someone, especially someone who's time has come too soon. Still smarting over the death of my friend in April. She was 45 and left 2 young kids and husband behind. Makes you wanna say WTF!!?!

No shit Paul. Been happening to me too often the last few years. I miss too many friends.
Today is Dave's 53rd birthday. Far too young. We were supposed to get out fishing today. Visitation is at 3 this afternoon. I may still go fishing to the spot we intended. Seems only fitting.
His time freed up a bit this year with a semi regular job. Wanted you to meet him Ed. A truck driving Marine preacher with hair down to the middle of his back. Finest human being you'd ever want to meet.
This is a warning to all you guys. His wife described his symptoms to me, all the symptoms of a heart attack in the making. If I had heard him saying that today, I would have rushed him to the emergency room, no fucking excuses or questions allowed.
I had a heart scan 3 years ago after another friend dropped dead and was given a clean bill of health. Cost me $100 I didn't have, but it was necessary.
I highly recommend you all get this done.
Going to be a long weekend. Lot of tears to be shed, lots of laughs with his family to be had. I'm going to read what I posted to a group at services on Sunday. I hope I make it through without blubbering. He's being buried at Riverside Cemetery on Route 25 in Montgomery. A fitting place to be put to rest...
