Timing above Lake Holiday is everything. Fish come and go fast. Smallies, largemouth, white bass now, walleye, gills, cats. There's a park right at 34 and the creek. You can only walk so far down stream cause of the Lake. Me, Matt C. and my daughter hiked a mile up once. Didn't do well, but the timing was off. Worth going a little ways up. You'll have to figure it out though. Hard to describe how to get around. Cross at the rocks under the tracks. That will make sense, but it still sucks.
At the dam below the lake you can park. Can really clean up right there regardless of the pressure. Walking downstream was a bitch cause of a deep pool.
Further downstream is a bridge, has a little man made boulder dam near it. Can't remember the road name, just know where it is. White bass and smallie heaven. Haven't been there in years. Walked pretty far down from there once, but got into a beaver dam pool and got out on the wrong side of the creek, couldn't get back across the creek. Crawled on my hands and knees through thick brush in 90 degree weather. It sucked. Haven't been there in years.
Next up, Apple River, any questions...
How about Rock Creek on the Kank.
They're all good now.
Indian Creek is the one I always wanted to learn, but virtually no public land along it.

Gives his reports to Dale and that's about it as far as I can tell. Who wants to hear he's out targeting carp and other lowly species anyway.
