made my first trip to Les Arends and had a ball...followed your advice Ken...got some producto twisters /pumpkin seed & smoke with 1/16 oz jig heads....casted down river and slowly brought it back and tallied 25 smallies.... no real size...but no complaints here....this was my best day on the river....fished pretty much all day tho (from about 930-4) with a small break for lunch...what a nice area...I'm looking forward to going back and exploring....thanks Ken for all the info...your tips were the reason that I was successful....appreciate it....( oh-sorry- I don't have any pictures...I may in the future...)

Glad you enjoyed it Ed. I've spent a lot of time in that area. Even when getting skunked I always enjoyed it.

I'm trying to figure out where to go next. Got my daughter this weekend, so probably no fishing. That leaves the one after that.
