I recently mentioned in a weird bunch of emails traded with the current ISA president that I'll be at the Bob Long presentation by special invite from Bob Long. In case you haven't figured it out, he's a good friend.
Apparently not:

And then they wonder why others think they're flaming assholes.
Bob Long at Bass Pro Part 2
Re: Bob Long at Bass Pro Part 2
Why would they host this event at BassPro a public place when the public cant even attend. Doesnt make any sense to me. Maybe it was for public until they here you were going to go Ken
You can never fish the same river twice, by the time you get back it's not the same river.

Ya think. I didn't know they had a room made like a bunker.MattC wrote:Maybe it was for public until they here you were going to go Ken
Back when I coordinated the area meetings for the ISA, I had to fight with the usual idiots to make them open to everyone.
I lined up guys like Bob Long, Dale Bowman, Dan Basore, Mike Norris . . . When you have speakers like that, wouldn't you want to put that on all the local fishing websites and get as many people to come as possible?
Brings in new members.
At one of the ISA board meeting ex-pres Jim Jozwiak said "tell them what ever you have to, just get them to part with their money."
I guess I did my part, but I was only doing what I was ordered to do.
