If I ever post on another site . . .

Shoot me an email and tell me to knock it off.
After the little discussion on Shakey Worms on WCF today, I realized I'm wasting my time.
The problem with the internet is that it has a very short attention span. Anything that happened more than a year ago may just as well never have happened. So anything I have to say is pretty much a waste of time. No one is actually interested in learning anything, it's just turned into a constant regurgitation of the same stuff over and over.
I'm partly to blame, my attitude comes out pretty bad at times and my patience is short.
So best to leave things alone.
The first Waterdog Journal was started in 2001. I shut that down after it became a hiding place for guys to come back to after hitting all the other sites fucking with people. They came back to brag.
I initially wanted the Journal to become a repository for local fishing, hunting and conservation issues. I'm returning to that goal. I still plan on loading up my blog with all things that bug me. Can't stop that, I'm extremely opinionated and it's at times hostile. That's why it will be on the blog.
But the rest of it is going to become a repository for all things outdoors in this area. Just like I started 8 years ago. With the main purpose being that people will have the ability to come here and talk specific spots and not get grief for it. I will not tolerate that.
So if you see me leaving anything anywhere else, kick me in the ass an tell me to knock it off. I won't take it personally.
