Not sure if i spelled that right. Just wondering if you know anything about this park. Looks like it could be some nice fishing. Would like to make a trip sometime late spring.

Beautiful, lightly used park. We went down when the cicadas were out had the place to ourselves. I went back to do some fishing caught a few fish, the water wasn't "high" but it really was humming. Fish were holding where you would expect but you only got one shot. If you didn't convert that first strike you weren't going to get a second chance. I haven't been back but I would definitely would go again. The river was beautiful but be warned its a steep walk back to your car after fighting the current all day.

Do a search on chi-town angler for posts by Razzo.

He did a big post on it once with pictures and details.

I only walked along it, never fished it. I'm with Jim on the hike back, you forget you have to hike back.

It's just a little hill. :D :D

Little Vermillion on the other side of the river is supposed to be pretty nice too. Check out this link. The worlds most confusing website. But the link to the Little Vermillion has a map and info somewhere in that mess on where to park. Legally, not like what I usually do.

I have all kinds of useless info on rivers.
