Dales Fox River Fishing Reports

Okay everyone, two options.

1. Anyone that is still fishing the Fox can feed him info. Darth is still doing all right, I'm sure Nick will be hitting walleye soon. I'm sure there are others. So if you feel up to the task, do it. Even if its just "caught a few walleye in Elgin". This time of year that is better than most.

2. I give Dale the go ahead to comb through here and summarize things for his reports as he sees fit. He's pretty good at not giving away spots if you don't want him to. Me, I don't care. He'll abide by the sites decision.

I may be done fishing for the season. So let me know what you think. Last year nobody took him up on it.

The squirrels in the woods are barking at me and I'm locked and loaded. My brother-in-law is supposed to get me out deer hunting. I had a blast wandering the woods for squirrel on Sunday. I was so good at stalking them that I inadvertently stalked right up to another hunter that was propped against a tree, even though the whole forest floor was covered in leaves. He never saw or heard me. Later in the parking lot he was laughing, how the hell'd you do that????

That would be the training I went through with the Sucksathunting tribe. Cousins of the Sucksatfishing tribe. My name with them is Cantshootasquirrel. There's a story about that here somewhere.

I fished the outflow and below in Montgomery Monday morning before I had my root canal. Smallies, wallies, gillies, and quillies. I was going to post a report, but without pics it's just b.s. right?

Should we just post a report or does he want us to email him info?

I talked to Dale today. He said he would come by to lurk and pick up info.
Always leave a post, even if it's just the highlights.

He just wants to be able to give a summary of what to expect on the Fox. If you want to give a general idea of where you were, that's fine. If you want to give away GPS coordinates, which I will do some day once I get a unit, that's fine too.

Now if you leave a really good post, don't be surprised to see a link to it in his Wednesday Fishing Report Blog. He warns guys now that they have to be registered to read it.

Either no one is reading his blog, or no one has any interest in registering here.

Works for me.

I took Oct 30th to Nov 3rd off work to fish and take care of things around house. Nothing on either part, kid was very sick, I was sick. I haven't even been on-line since friday. Hopefully, with the weather the way it is, I hope to have a report on the fox from this coming weekend.

Ken, I'll put something up tonight, wish I had a better camera though. Some really cool stuff to see in that area after all the hi-water.

Hey Trav, I'm blowing off "the league" Thursday. The feeling I got was it may be canceled anyway. Let's fish that evening, my place or yours. Or...... "the lab" .... muah hahahahaha!
