I need you help I have just constructed my 2010 killer smallie zonker. I need to know do you like it with eyes and with out eyes.





So Ken I am into Fly Tying this year and I tied these in the perfect size 6 hook and have a little weight to them so they will be subsurface. What are you thoughts Eyes or no Eyes

The other flies I've used that had eyes on them had the eyes fall off the first time I used the fly. Kept using the fly anyway and they still caught fish. I have a few one eyed minnow patterns in my collection.

Basically, why do the work of putting them on if they are going to fall off anyway and they don't make a difference.

Now you need to get that 3 inch Producto pearl spring grub pattern done.

Without, it wont make a difference either way.

Or keep for for the rattle noise..do they move and hit the sides?
the bigger eye does resemble a shad.
I typically haven't used those buggle eyes.
