Damn water. Fox is at 3400 and even the creeks are a little blown out. I guess I can go do some exploring. Just stay out of the water.

This time of year I start reading maps. Topo, aerial, pretty much any kind that shows me where to drive and wander.

I would do it. But then, I don't fish ponds. I just want you guys away from the river.

I wanted to make it out there today Andrew, but I had no wingman, and about the time when I would have said F-it and headed out there anyway, I got a call from the off-shift foremean at work. Had to go in and troubleshoot a fire alarm comm circuit.

All better now, and no fishing this weekend.

You didn't miss much. Even though under one of the other posts the Fishin' Musician was catching walleye.
