Sorry about no pictures but I caught 3 decent ones at the golf course in Dwight today. It is upriver or up creek about 14 miles from the falls at Coal City. These fish were caught in laydowns in a creek about 15 ft. wide. On was close to 2 1/2 and the other 2 were chunky 14 inchers. A few creek chubs also fell to the 1/8 oz. jig and craw trailer. I got in 4 holes of golf , but after ther fish started getting caught I quit the golf and did some flipping of jigs. Perfect weather and there is no waiting on the tee if you are fishing. Jay

Golf and fishing. I think this wins as one of the oddest short posts I've seen in 14 years of posting.

I really want to get back to where I fished along Mazonia 13 years ago. I didn't even know how to fish rivers and creeks back then. $1.50 a gallon for gas and I'd be there. $3.00 a gallon and I have to think about it too much. You know, most of the oil goes to making plastic bottles. People need to go back to glass so I can have cheap gas to go fishing. :D :D
