So we totaled 3 fish today.. 1 Trout and 2 smallies. We got to a foot bridge just north of the Rock Creek Dam and it was posted no Tresspassing on a tree on the other side of the creek.

Here is where the foot bridge is and this is where it was posted on the tree

The dude comes out of nowhere screaming and yelling to get off his property and we are in the water?... I told him how the hell can you own water. He said We had to leave or he would have called the police. I was getting pissed. I called Ken and he said to stay away from those people they are crazy and will pretty much shoot you.. This dude was an ass. We did notice on the tree he had Cameras wired up looking at the river.

Well other then that here is how my day started off

All and All it was an ok day. Water was low and clear. Found my Waterfall and managed to get kick out of a creek.

The smallies should be moving soon.

Give it a couple of more weeks and you'll see hundreds up there.
Still won't be able to catch many cause they won't be interested, but at least you'll get to see them.

I'm at the point when people tell me they are going to call the police, I tell them go ahead.
And while you're at it, go dig out your deed.
Show me where it says you own any part of the creek/stream/river.

Sam,what side did you enter from? If you where on the east side there should be no problem.I have fished that pool many times, when they are in there you should be able to get at least a dozen. The next big pool downstream is the better one
especially for bigger smallies because of the depth.I only fish the creek when I need a "quick fix" after a skunking. It's my instant remedy.
I stopped by Rock Creek today to see if the smallies are moving in and check water temps. The creek was actually cooler then the main river at 8 a.m. Cool nights will do that and the smallies will pull back till later in the day.The problem, like Ken say's-when they do move in and the weather is nice the place will be crawling with people.I didn't fish here today,I fished the main river catching nine decent fish in four hours.
