I think I'll be heading out some time around 3. With the Fox up and I'm sure the creeks are muddy, now clue yet where to go. I'm thinking sticking close to shore below Oswego. The fishing sucked on Tuesday and Wednesday. The river and creeks may as well had a fish kill.

To bad you're so far from the Kankakee,it's been steady all week.

I thought of that.
Hate the idea of spending money on gas to go catch a fish when I can walk down the hill to the river.

Odd how that works. I never fish this stretch. Not sure why.

I never made it out. Tourney was canceled but "honey-dos" caught up to me.....


Weather made it feel like Feb 8th, not May 8th.....


I have fishing planned 4 days next week. Plenty of time to make up for today.

The Fox is a waste of time. At least for me. Just spent 3 hours beating good looking water to death for a dink smallie that quick released and a carp hooked in the nose.

Hardly worth it.

I'd think of some place else to go. Haven't been seeing any other good reports for the Fox. Darth always goes out and catches his pet fish up near him, but other than that it's looking pretty bleak.

I want numbers and they're just not there.

Sounds like it's time to plan our float n' wade downstream.

I don't remember what we had decided on exactly, but I am anxious to get some stuff set in stone.
