No inside jokes. Please explain.

Some of us don't sit at our desk all day reading every little post on every little site.

Ed can explain his brush with internet death.
he's on double secret probation.
*

We worked Winneconne and Fremont pretty good.
Tough bite, but we caught fish.
what worked for me was a null for others, and the reverse was the same..
Flies caught zip, for me it was a minnow on a drop shot, plain hook.
Big Steve caught all his on an inline spinner.
Completely different for others.

the bite was on 2 weeks ago, then they got snow which brought the fish up then shut down the spawn.
It was sporadic at best watching others.
Still casted 8-10hrs a day.
Fast warm up had a shallow effect.
Surface temps were warm but i think the stratified column was colder.
Just needs more time.

It followed our mantra, "we always have fun and sometimes catch fish.."

Bakes played every night for us from 3-4 after poker.
The 10 of us helped the local economy by leaving a ton of cash at the pubs in town.
I think the city council wrote our trip revenue into their 2011 city budget.

boat ran great, weather was nice and all had a good time.
Had a blowout and a near one on the last trip.
Watching travel we could hit Fremont again.

no pics of the death march...what goes on in Wisconsin..stays in Wisconsin..
Plus its easier to embelish with no pics if they can't remember.

Prepping for leelanau, that weekend is near the full moon.

I told Marc I would drop it.

Just the drill sergeant in me finding it's way out of my body through the tips of my fingers, and messing up another perfectly peaceful CTA thread......

Well that explains why I got two email in the last couple of hours from Marc after not hearing from him for over a year. Apparently he spent some time today reading through FHQ posts. He included a nice link to a 3 year old post bashing him as basically some kind of sexual predator. And some moron named Andrew never had it deleted. He apparently doesn't understand why I give Andrews site any time. Didn't seem to matter how I responded to him that I don't participate much over there. This is how he signed off in the second email.
Kind of weird that you’ve chosen a bunch of thugs, most of them arrogant assholes. They will find their niche as the new overly malicious website that just talks shit about other people, sites and bizarrely enough shitty to each other.

You have lowered your standards Ken.
Now you know why I avoid all the other sites like the plague. Even when I don't do anything I have people crawling out of the woodwork to give me a hard time.

My wife is having a bad week, just tired and aching, thank god not life threatening. I'm spending many hours a day tracking down work before I go broke. I'm looking forward to spending a birthday weekend with my daughter . . .

And I gotta hear all about how fishing site owners think other fishing site owners are assholes and I'm lowering my standards because I happen to post over on one of them now and then.

It's fishing, it's about fishing . . . in the long run . . . Nobody gives a flying fuck.

No Ed, I'm not blaming you for setting this off. But you have a blog on FHQ, get the connection? Why the hell are you even over on chitown let alone causing problems there. I am just really sick and tired of somehow being linked to all things fishing internet. I like to think I'm just hanging out minding my own fucking business most of the time.

Next thing you know I'll be hearing from Eric, Jungle Jim and Ed Diem all telling me what an asshole I am, what assholes everyone is that I hang out with, and how my standards have dipped to an all time low because of that.

And I'll just smile and nod and say . . . hey old friends, I'm just doing fucking fine, thanks for asking.

:( ugh... this is why I stay out of other people's e-drama. It's not enough that I have my own marital problems, financial issues, and oh I don't know 40 hours of crap jammed into a 24 hour day. Then I have to get blasted by a site admin because I told him he should be more positive....... WTF!

Ken, I am so sorry to hear your wife is not doing well. If there is anything I can do please don't hesitate to ask, you know I live down the street basically. You will find work, you are too talented not to, eventually the market will turn, and you will be in high demand. It must be true, our Commander in Chief said so.

Anyway, I'll send you what I sent him. You decide if you want to read it. I didn't ask anyone to go to bat for me, and I didn't pull any other person into my battle. That's all I'm gonna say about the guy, because I generally believe his character shouldn't be judged solely on isolated incidents.
