I spent the last week up near Manitowish Waters. Got up there last Saturday, farted around for awhile and then strolled down to the dock for a few casts to make sure the Hawg Wobbler was running correctly. Third cast I caught a 20" smallie, my new personal record. Starting out strong like that could mean two things.....one, its gonna be a killer week or two, you've peaked and its all down hill from there........alas, Fate tossed me option two. Thats ok, I'm tanned and rested, we had an excellent week up there of sun and fun. My liver took quite a beating but thats nothing new. Now, if only my wallet would turn up......

Even wtih peaking early sounds like a great week!
