Stange morning.Weather seemed perfect but I was dripping wet after an hour, must be the humidity.A breeze kicked up
out of the south and I was comfortable again plus I was into fish.Couldn't buy a bite on plastics until I made a quick retrieve to start another cast. But a nice smallie got in the way.Smallies wanted the bait moving today.Buzzbait worked across the seams and in fast water was the most successfull Ended up with fourteen fish mostly on the buzzbait. All 12-15
inches. The only big one of the day came unbuttoned a few feet from hand when he went airborn.River is in great shape.
Cut my day short,I had to move 12 yards of dirt on friday.

Wish I lived closer to that river.
I'm hoping the Fox turns on like that tomorrow morning.
Moving 2 storage sheds full mother-in-law stuff today.
Whether or not I have any feeling left in my back and legs will determine where I go. :D

I'm off work until Wednesday, no honey do's.

Topwater bite was on until 10 AM, after that cranks and rattlebaits. I didn't switch to plastics until noon. Fast water was the ticket, riffles and adjacent flats. Never got to the bridges. Got close to the century mark in numbers.

Out with my son in the morning if he gets up.

I did exactly what you did Norm this morning on the Fox. One 4 inch dink for my troubles. Don't know why I bothered. You guys are lucky to have that resource so close.
