River is down to 716 cfs at 8:30 PM.
I think its been over a year since the last time and it only lasted a couple of days.

Was going to do the urban fishing thing this weekend, but stopped at one spot Wednesday to look it over and I just can't bring myself to do it. It's looking like Saw wee kee tomorrow. The stretch I won't hit till the water is below 1000. Sunday I don't know yet. Looking for a new access point on Little Rock. Or a Big Rock stretch that needs my attention.

That's the plan for now. It tends to change when I pull out of the driveway.

Rivers are EXCELLENT right now. Did a 13 hr float trip today on the dupage and will get the report up tomorrow or monday but in short fishing is AWESOME. Supposed to meet some friends early tomorrow;maybe talk them into fishing the bridge and the wall in downtown oswego tomorrow.

I fished Big Rock Creek, south of Route 34 on Saturday, July 17th. I started out at 6:00 a.m. and immediately lost four streamer flies after getting hung up. After changing leaders and switching to a yellow crystal bugger, I caught five smallies in about an hour in a heavily shaded area a little further south. Three of the smallies were between 15 and 16 inches. The other two were about 12 inches. Each fish was caught dead drifting a streamer after initially casting towards the shore. I got off the creek at 10:30 a.m after it got beastly hot. I think fishing shaded areas early in the morning is the best recipe to catching fish. I had a talk with a muskie fisherman when I got off the river and he indicated that he caught numerous muskie in both Big Rock Creek and the Fox. I did not fish the main river at all as I expected it to be too hot for both the fish and me.
