The Four Season Angler
I like the grunge background. I wonder why?

Thanks Ken.
Good things are on the horizon. I like the idea of you writing a blog, it would be a good creative outlet for you. Maybe journal style instead so it's not so "newsie".
That's what I'm going for, more of a group of writers all together writing, sharing, and helping each other out. Who knows if anyone else will want to read that stuff? Dale posts your stuff because people like to read it (some don't understand that
), and Cory's writings are great. He knows how to paint a picture that makes you think. Good stuff.
I'll keep this updated as I update my site, and keep everyone apprised of what is going on all year long.

I treat this whole forum as my blog. Not sure that's the way to go, things get lost in the layers. Besides, this forum is semi-private, which doesn't make exposure easy.
Hopefully they have another grunge background I can use that doesn't look like yours.

WDJ is not too hard to navigate, and it's nice getting the feedback from the other guys on the water (Norm, Bill, BrianZ, Frank, etc.)..... wonder if those guys want a blog?
I think most of your 'ruminations" are publishable. Seriously, those and the stuff I read in O.N. are what got me writing. Anyone that knows me will tell you I hate writing. I really do! What I have been putting down though is storytelling. I'm good at that, it may be the only thing I am good at! Re-living the experience in a way that lets others relate and damn near re-live it with me...... that's all I do. If that's writing, I guess that's what I do then.....
You can have the grunge background, I have something else going on anyway.

Did you ever get a response from Bob? Did you send him the final version?
Maybe we ought to start our own slim mag. I think I can scratch up at least one advertiser.

No impact - no idea... He never responds to my emails, and I have sent them from my hotmail address and my .gov address.
Might be getting filtered.
Our own mag? Shit, no one would read that, your stuff is free in Dale's column every week!

All you can do is send it. I'm sure there are reasons for the silence. Busy being one of them.

There could be more, once upon a time there was. I purposely limit myself lately.
One suggestion, for reasons I won't go into at length
avoid putting any words in "quotes" that aren't actually quotes. They're unnecessary and distracting. Just trust me on this. I already know a handful of people that are wincing every time they see it.

I guess we can go ahead and change all the links to:

The cat was let out of the bag by Mr. Rob.
No big deal, Cory and Rob have already gotten their creative juices rolling. I think this will be fun!

Fixed.
Now I have to go read Robs.
Moron didn't bother mentioning it like I ASKED.
