That would be Prairie Creek.
Didn't get to fish the Kank as much as I always wanted, but the times I've been there I've concentrated on Rock Creek and the stretch between Warner Bridge and Area 7, which I know pretty well.
I stopped at the area in your link once to check it out on the way to other spots. Never did get back there but it always looked promising. Fished downstream at I-55 a couple of times and did well.
I hear that the stretch of the Kank between the mouth of Prairie Creek and I-55 can be excellent, but I like Area 7 so much better that I never got around to it.
Only way to really find out is that I guess you'll have to go fish it and get back to us.
You left a PM about Big Rock Creek. I fished about 5 miles of it last year. Plus have been fishing it for about 10 years. Last year was one of the deadest years. But then we had that flood event that kicked up the creek to a level I had never seen before.
Go to the Links to Info forum and look for the Kane County Forest Preserve. Look for a map on Big Rock Quarry. The area you mention by the treatment plant ain't half bad either.
I found a map once of Plano Parks, forgot to bookmark it and can't find it again. They have a good size park that follows the creek through Plano. Well worth the hike.
Hope this all helps.
