having trouble committing to words

I just ended a trek in which I covered a creek from stem to stern. I thought it would make for an interesting read that might interest a few folks. Now that it's time to write I find that the whole experience has become a highly personal, spiritual event. I just can't come to grips with how to describe it now.

Have any of you experienced this and if so where you able to write about it or did you just end up keeping it to yourself?

I'm no pro in anyway, shape or form but... I have also blanked on a story the day it happened. But a day or so later it all came pouring out!

It just happens sometimes?!

If the outing was that personal with ur thoughts and such, I would keep it to myself.. :)

I'm sure I speak for everyone here... I/we would love the read. ;)

Good luck Norm.

Only share with us that which you are willing to abandon.

I bet you could write a few paragraphs about just one particular stretch... just that would be enough to give us insight without giving it away.

You wouldn't believe how much stuff I have in my head that never gets written down. Good stuff.

Sometimes that happens or the moment goes away.

Write a paragraph, then another. I put things in the order they happened. Don't think of them as a story. Have you ever noticed my paragraphs one after the other sometimes make no sense? That's why. By the time I'm done I make a couple of comments that pulls it all together.

Well, most of the time.
