Fishing and Writing Plans

I've decided to take off from fishing for 5 months.
In the mean time, I'll be inundating every place I leave my writings with massive amounts of my accumulated knowledge.
I've learned that, not only do I never have to fish again, all I have to do is regurgitate seasonal articles that have appeared over the last 50 years in all the national magazines.
I'll make sure I pepper these regurgitated articles with the names of all the different companies that I want to give me money for dropping their names. I'll also line list all of their products as THE best lures to use for whatever season it is we happen to be fishing.
Once I get this new plan in place, maybe then I'll be included in the short list of writers in the Chicago area that "get it" in the great outdoors around here.
This is going to be exciting.

I'm excited too.
What if you took 6 months off and used the extra month to gather press releases and re-broadcast those? I bet you'd really nail down some solid credibility that way.
* On a side note, I am not taking any time off fishing, but instead for the rest of the year I plan on only blogging about arbitrary and completely irrelevant topics. My goal is to write as passionately about bullshit as humanly possible. Never know where it may take me...

Alright, I think you missed the line in the terms and conditions where it says that the owner of this site cannot be picked on or made fun of.
If I wanted that I'd go back to ChicagoLandFishing...
Oh, I got a backlog of press releases.

Well, I can't pick on Travis at WCF since that colon-polyp Cranked takes it personally every time I post something he misunderstands as negative, so I have to exorcize my demons somewhere...
BTW - you don't write about bullshit passionately, there is hardly ever any passion in what you write.

Will you leave Travis alone... dipshit.
That whole lack of sense of humor thing has always befuddled me.
Didn't we all grow up reading MAD Magazine, watching the Stooges, Abbott and Costello, Marx Bros. National Lampoon, Saturday Night Live and on and on and on.
How could you not have a sense of humor. One of the reasons I left the ex was because I got tired of hearing "I don't get it". My kids have to restrain themselves from going over her head when trying to be funny.
Actually, I've purposely tried to take the passion out of things I write lately.
Went fishing, killed a fish. Used a lure. The sun was out, it was warm. Found a toaster.
Kind of like that. Stories and reports for the brain dead.
