Re: Anyone here ever hear of this river?
Well let's do it. Put big Xeroxed pic of a guy eating a walleye on the first page of the first issue. Make a limited run of 1000 and charge five bucks. I've got access to subscriber tech. Let 'em sign up and we'll mail 'em. My kids will run the photocopier. We can decide either to split the five ...

Re: Anyone here ever hear of this river?
Have you guys thought about a collective blog site? I understand the desire for people to have their own personal site, but how great could a site be if you had a few, 5, 10 or more of us contributing? I tried to do exactly this a few years ago. The Four Season Angler's Writers Network I had a ...

Re: Commuting and Work
My commute is all side roads and city streets that take me through Oswego, Plainfield, Naperville, Bolingbrook, Darien, & Lemont. On a good day it's 35 minutes, on a bad day it's 45. I'm not complaining. I do not like where I live, but the housing crash left us stuck in a $150k hole since our place ...

That's ok, even if faced with the realization that he is irrelevant he would certainly blame it on someone else.
He's always the victim.

Re: Down to 44
I have no idea why you kept me in your circle Ken. All I do is make fun of you and how old you are.
Somehow I think maybe you just want to keep in touch so you can make fun of me too.
Oddly... I'm ok with that.

Re: And with that, I'm done
I know someone with rental property out that way.
As far as I'm concerned, I haven't fished the river at all this year. I think I made 2 or 3 visits, but so few equal nothing in my mind. It's been a crazy fucked up year for me, and I'm looking forward to what the future may hold.

Re: Salmon
Woz was up in WI fishing Milwaukee Harbor. The kings are on a tear coming in to spawn so it's crankbait season. If you hit a Chicago harbor, wait for the moon to fill out a bit and hit the harbor during lowlight, couple hours pre-dawn till first light and dusk till midnight. You may get lucky and ...
