Re: Heartland Outdoors Opportunity
John, Dale's calling it semi-retired because I'm giving up doing actual fishing reports. Go here, use this, fish it like this. It's the same thing over and over again. I got tired of it. I'll only be doing the stories I put on my blog. He'll use those now and then. He can use a regular contributor ...

Re: Heartland Outdoors Opportunity
Hey Ken , I came across a Suntimes on Wed. and the Fox report mentioned that you were semi-retiring and they are looking to fill the position. I do not read the Times all the time. Is this Heartland Outdoors Opportunity related to that?

Re: Why I need to get my new waders!!!!
Nice read Ken. I was talking to the guy in the boat in the parking lot. I told him myself and another guy both caught some nice size smallies in the lake by the bridge. That was it. I spent about 20 mins after I caught the fish and didn't get a bump, so I was gone. As I looked around, I noticed no ...

Why I need to get my new waders!!!!
Decided to check out big Rock lake Saturday. Was there for about 25 mins. and caught a horse of a smallie out of the lake as did another guy. That was it and I left. That is the exact reason I need to get a new pair of waders now that my back is better and hit the Fox and some creeks. At least I can ...

Re: Expect some activity soon!!
Hey Ken I forgot to ask, what kind of wildlife has been showing up at your back door lately?

Re: Expect some activity soon!!
Saw a couple of little yellow birds in my tree yesterday, pretty cool. I think they are some kind kind of finches? Saturday around mid-night I heard an owl that was pretty close. About 10 minutes later another one starting hooting back from quite a distance away. Exactly why I like sleeping with the ...

Yorkville.
Hey guys. I have passed by the Yorkville dam a couple of times in the last week and saw some guys wading. I'm just curious how it's shaping up with the changes. I would think there are more current breaks where the fish can hang. Ken I know thats probably to close to home for you, but anyways it ...

Re: Special Ed-Walleye club night
Come on ....I wanna hear some one say they have done some damage on walleyes. Spring and fall the best bets? Do you have to go right up on the dam area to catch them. Usually when I wade I prefer to stay away from the dams, I'm a roamer.
