Re: Expect some activity soon!!

Went on a bike ride the other day and spotted a Pekin duck mixed in with a group of mallards, as well as a Mallard with a white chest and even tone rear half, in the same group hanging out by the island park in Batavia. I would speculate the off colored mallard may have been a result of the Pekin ...

Re: Expect some activity soon!!

I would really like to know what they taste like? Anyone ever tried? Big birds, should provide a nice meal. I figure it's better than donating them to the raccoons.

Re: Spring...it isn't far away!

Thats funny, I actually work at a local non-for-profit recreation facility, and it is pretty much the same. Love the mom's in the two pieces with kids climbing all over them, swimwear is bound to be dislodged. :? then they look at me (lifeguarding)- like "hmm, did he just see my titty?" bwahahahaha ...

Re: Special Ed-Walleye club night

Well if it makes you feel any better I went out about 25 nights around here targeting walleye and ended up catching drum, pike, and quillback. I have yet to catch a walleye/sauger from the river since I moved here in August of last year.

Re: Spring...it isn't far away!

My girl works out at Vaughn Center, and I swim there. If anyone posts a pic of me in a speedo your ass is grass. If anyone posts a pic of my girl working out, expect a ninja star in your neck while you're wading.

Re: Creeks and puddles

If you're heading over there, hit me up. Big Rock is one of my favorite places around here. I imagine it is clearing up, Patterson is mostly open now. The Creek there is def. flowing hard, I get most of my fish right on the dam there or in the creek anyway. Might be a good time to drag some tubes in ...

Re: Wade some creeks?

There's a couple of spots I like around there, unfortunately the higher water kept me away from them. Ended up at the ponds jiggin and trappin and whatnot. I don't like wandering out too far into water above my waist by myself, I would rather be a victim than a missing person. There are some really ...

Wade some creeks?

Hey guys, new to the waterdog journal, I have the whole week off and will be going on some wading trips on the Fox and it's tributaries in the Aurora Montgomery area. If anyone wants to hook up send me a message. Will be out today near North Ave in Aurora until about maybe 5 . Phone/text 224-622-1191.
