Just ask Sam, I'm sure he'll send you the others . . . for a hefty fee of course. :P :P

I have too much exploring on new areas of the Fox I want to get done this year.
There's too much of the DuPage to go check out now too.

I hate working. Cuts into my fishing time.

Same with me Ken, I have some water on the Fox I also want to explore, a little bit father away then I usually roam. I haven't been down to south aurora (North ) ave in a bit but I caught some big smallies as well as #'s their in the past though the scenery leaves a little to be desired. Whats funny to me is the more I get out , I go to what I consider moderate fish catching areas just to get away and enjoy the trees and wildlife.. I don't plan on guiding anyone but returning clients I have 5 booked for the season, I just don't feel the need or desire to work that hard finding fish, or educating on the water... maybe its a phase but I am a bit burnt out by all the BS.and egos involved in fishing the river, so I am stepping back a bit for now. I am considering joining Friends of the Fox River, and keeping a journal From March to November for future references. I may go back to fishing Live bait , since that seemed to be an issue for awhile even though I have deep hooked more fish with Slider hooks then I EVER did with octupus hooks. They still had a better rate of survival then your filleted smallmouth,I know it is your right but I can't bring myself to eat one(YET). I was in The U.p. and we filleted some largemouth bass but I pissed EVERYONE off in the group when I tossed back what they called a perfect eater an eighteen inch Smallmouth. I did not have any qualms eating and bringing home the northern pike which at times seemed suicidal, they loved Husky jerks and white spinner -baits. Lets get out this spring , doesn't matter where I always had a good time on the river ,when we fished ... Take Care Kevin

Hey Kev,
Burnout is a bitch. I think I've spent too much time trying to teach others. Met a lot a great people, but I guess I'm a loner at heart.

I am buggy to get involved with a few things though. F.O.F is a good one, I know pretty much everyone there. The Conservation Foundation is the other one. Know quite a few of them. Will avoid like the plague any fishing groups with a conservation bent. Way too much politics. :D :D

You're going to have to drag your sorry old butt down my way. I want to put together a few guys to comb the Millbrook area. Most of them are kids, under 40, but not bad guys. ;) ;)

Then we'll keep a couple of smallies and we'll have a shore lunch. God will forgive you for partaking.
