Red X on the map are homes that Shorewood knocked down to make a whole new river walk. There is one house still remaining and this guy is a clown to be careful.

Blue on the map is my wading line. Stay on there in and you will be good to go.

Orange are my holes these are not passable right now only when the river is low. I have tried to pass the 1st hole near the bottom of my screen in low water and have had water come into my wader and I was on my toes

Then second hole holds 2 huge smallies I cant ever catch from the bridge you will see them cruising I have had no luck (they have been there for the past 2 years

The third hole is small but just past the fast water you will find fish.. (Remember Jake)

The last hole some times is a mud fest on my wading track but I do good on that side plus in the summer the home owners would say sh%t. But now they are gone the other side is a hard stone. FOR YOU CARP guys big Grass Carp shoot around like missles here but this area is deep and there is a Purple line when I was out the other day it was like runoff sewer and was flowing.. I caught most my fish in this last hole. WATCH OUT FOR SNAGGS lots of rocks.. I cast a bit up stream and and let it work down.

Fish were caught on Jig and twister White and Pearl.. and the Jig had a gold blade.

The holes start from the bottom of my screen and work on up.\

Kind of cool that they're moving homes off the river. The city probably got tired of footing the bill for flood relief.

It's rare, but now and then some nut along the Fox will say something about fishing off their shore. Laughing at them pisses them off, so that's what I do. If there's a place to sit that's not on shore, I'll do that too. At that point you can fry an egg on their forehead.

Now there's too many choices. Here or the East/West Branches.

I can describe almost 20 miles of the Fox that way. Maybe more. Make a nice river map, wouldn't it.

If I could ever scratch together the money to get the license to LEGALLY use the aerials for publication, would be nice.

Those holes will move with the floods so hopefully all know conditions change annually..

One drought summer i waded from the dam all way past the park.
i was catching fish and walking downstream.
Before i knew it i had a hellof a walk back to my car!

I think if you think you are heading to the DuPage to fish, just contact Sam and he'll get you what you need.

Then he should charge you $10 for each section. I think he sent 12 of them. Would be worth it, but might be slightly illegal for him to charge for them. But, who cares. That's his problem.

Unless I get rid of all registered users that I don't know personally, might be too much info. It's up to Sam. If it were me and my info on the Fox, I would put it out there for everyone to see. But that's how I do things and the Fox is a much larger body of water.

Sweet map! I've never fished the duper and its much closer than where i roam. Might check it out sometime... My 5mm waters still work i think..
