Having the same problem. Just came off the river at saw wee kee. Only landed 4, but I lost track of how many times my twister got pulled down.

Was thinking of Somonauk where we went with my daughter. But if it looks like it did that day, then I'm going to Big Rock. And if that looks like crap . . . I just don't know.

Was just checking out aerial maps of the Dupe at Shorewood, but not up for that kind of exploring. Sam mentioned going from 52 to river road. That's a hell of a hike.

The creeks it is. That way I'm relatively close to home if I get bored. Besides, I don't have a smallie from Somonauk yet for the taste test. Then there are a couple of spots on the down stream side of Lake Holiday.

The lovely wife will be heading off to work around 6 am. I'll probably leave soon after.

If you don't go that far and head for the Fox, try the crap plant stretch. Just above the railroad tracks is where I was hooking into walleye. Then go the whole stretch down from the outflow. Especially the flats.
