Is there anywhere to park to get into les arends before the gates open?
You can never fish the same river twice, by the time you get back it's not the same river.

Directly across the street from the entrance in the Moose Lodge Parking lot. They have never cared. I park close to 31.

I'll put up a post later, but on Sunday I'll be there by 7 AM. Parked across the street if the gates aren't open yet. I want to be on the water by 8.

Got there a little early didja? I've hiked in as early as 4 AM. Fished Mill Creek under a full moon.

Long time ago I got to be good friends with the ranger that would come to close the park. I was always out there well past closing time, so he would close the gate and just hang the lock for me. When I left I would lock it up for him. One time a very young woman (18ish) and her boyfriend thought they got locked in. She was crying hysterically trying to figure out how she was going to explain it to her dad. No problems I told her. Too bad her boyfriend was around, she was so grateful. If you catch my drift. :D :D
