Got out with my Dad, brother, and Sam yesterday morning. We did pretty well considering how low the river is. We caught around 40 smallies between all of us, but no real size to any of them. All fish came on jig/twister. White seemed to work particularly well as usual, but fish were caught on many other colors. My brother continued to prove how he's the master of the jig/twister by pulling in probably 15 or more of those fish. We explored much more of the river and found some water we're dieing to fish in spring and early summer when the water is at normal levels. Here are some pics from the morning.
Edit: Pics coming soon, forgot I have to resize them.
Here's the pics.

Nice job, sure is beautiful out there. Definetly on the list for next year.
You can never fish the same river twice, by the time you get back it's not the same river.

I liked seeing that shot of someone walking near the bluffs. Gives a much better sense of their size.
Much taller than I thought.
Next year, sigh.
The fishing isn't dead yet. May have to switch to minnows soon. I hate carrying around a bucket.

Ya Ken, the bluffs there are amazing. The bluffs in the pictures are about half the size of the largest we've seen. The trail we follow back up river after wading down river a couple miles takes us up on this bluff that is the highest out there that we've seen. It's gotta be like 100 feet high, and twice as high as the one pictured. Definitely a nice river to wade. We'll get an outing out there next year Ken. We found a TON of water that we want to fish in normal water levels. Going there with the water this low gave us a great idea of the structure of the river, where the rockbeds, holes, etc. are for when the levels are normal next year Can't wait for spring already!! LOL
