Okay, I not so politely pointed out that floating jigs on the river has been around forever. I wasn't that rude.
Basically said . . . there's a history out there, learn how to search.
It got deleted.
Decided to get rid of some of this.
Wrote it while in a bad mood.
This stuff is too funny though.
That's funny

I don't post reports there for a reason. They have an alliance of bass fisherman on there that define elitism. I don't need that kind of paranoia.

I haven't posted on that site in quite some time. You got some good people over there, but then there's an overabundance of assholes that just... ruin it for everyone. That's why I'm here all the time now

Re: That's funny
I still like chitown angler and think it's probably the best Chicago area site.
Mainly because Marc's a good guy and so are Cory, Bear (Kevin) and Tom.
Not sure why anymore on why I don't post there much. Marc won't allow off site posting of pics and I don't have time to duplicate all my efforts putting pics all over the place. My stuff has become more about pictures lately. Without them it's a waste.
And come on, on this site we're all a bunch of elitists. The best at Google and Google Maps and the best at exploring the far reaches of remote local flowing waters.
Either that or we're all out there just stumbling around lost and get lucky with what we find.

They have some silly rules with the photo posting guidelines and the like but I'd have to say that place has the nicest group of people on it, and everyone knows how to handle one another with respect it seems.Ken G wrote:I still like chitown angler and think it's probably the best Chicago area site.

But I like mine and Ken's... We don't have to enforce any rules.

Agreed.
Keep putting up your high quality stuff as well as the reports from Mike, and our Ohio friends, and you will see your registered users count climb. Then you may need to start thinking about rules. Because it's always the one jag-off that ruins it for everyone else.

I agree. CTA is definitely the best Chicago area site as far as friendliness, respect, etc. go. They have a great bunch of guys over there. I dislike having to double your work to post pics as well, though. It's probably the biggest reason I don't post there that often anymore.
I'm still privy to our little elitist bunch here on your site Ken. We have a good time here! Andrew I have never really gotten into posting on your site on a consistent basis, but I probably could. You have a great site with a ton of info!
