Dale's Wednesday Midwest Fishing Report

That's what this one is about. If you're planning on fishing and want company, put that here. If the fish talk you have to say doesn't fit anywhere else, that can go here too.

Dale's Wednesday Midwest Fishing Report

Post by Ken G »

As most of you know Dale Bowman has his abbreviated version in the paper on Wednesday.

The extended version goes on the Wednesday blog.

For those that are interested, start putting up semi-coherent reports in the appropriate forums, then email Dale a link. Introduce yourself, tell him the link goes to this site, tell him I sent you. He probably knows who most of you are already, but it won't hurt to make a formal intro.

Dale's email: outdoordb@sbcglobal.net

I say why not give it a shot. He truly appreciates RELIABLE info.

If you don't want to give away specific spots, than be vague "Fished the DuPage between Shorewood and Channahon . . ."

That's pretty vague.

Most of all, have fun with it.

Thank you for the opportunity to maybe get a few minutes in the lime light.

I wish he posted pics in his reports. The run-downs he gives are good for knowing what happened last week. I think if there were some eye-candy in there, more people would value it.

I do have to admit though, it would be pretty cool to have a little blurb of my own published.

Let me see if he had any info on the lake trout action north of the border last week. If not, I will write something up quick and send him a link.

That's why he likes my links. I can decorate them however I want and he doesn't have to worry about adding pictures to his blog. He has no problem linking to things here. Talk to him if he'll link to your blog. He also knows Andrew already so I don't see a problem.

Just remember, the Fox is mine. :D :D :D

I'm coming back for another year of the DPR. First story of the year will be up tomorrow, and then in his thing on Wednesday.

He doesn't know this yet but I will also do a little for up north in WI as well for when I go. I figure to put in another 60 days on the water this year.

Ed, my boss Jeff from PSO includes photos in his weekly thing (as long as the fish are big) :)

Just remember that what he uses is real hit or miss. Till he feels he can trust you and your reports.

Andy, if you're going to be up north, that leaves the DPR for others to report on, doesn't it?

Don't call me "Andy" otherwise I will never respond.

Yeah we had a system going last year for when I was gone. I'd tell Dale and he had others fill in.

This guy right here filled in, and was added as another source for when I was gone - http://catchphotorelease.com/
I forgot his name but I am facebook friends with him and he fishes near the tri-rivers area and south of Romeoville by boat.

(you forget names quick when you are friends with almost 900 people and 300 of them are those whom you've never met before but you know that they go fishing)

Touchy, touchy. Then you should take that reference off facebook. Or is Endy Okay?

That would be Bill Anderson. Nice guy. Haven't talked to him in years. Him and Dale have been friends for a long time. Maybe in 20 years you'll be that good. Till then, you have a lot of catching up to do.

You have yet to prove to me the asshole moniker. Pain in the ass maybe.

I'm going to go with "Hey Ragas."
