Where to fish on Friday??

East and West Branches plus the main stem, not much to look at sometimes, but an astonishing fishery.

Where to fish on Friday??

Post by AndrewR »

I have my entire afternoon and evening freed up for some fishing.

Problem is, this river has not treated me so nicely in the past two years and I don't know where I should go.

Please point me off to the right direction so that I can get into some action with possibilities at size.

Thank you.

Friggin' newbies that can't catch a fish. :D :D

Anywhere below Shorewood or Channahon.

I think they're the best bets to actually catch something. Especially size.

Ask Sam for parking details. He knows all the spots.

River was crap. Couple of little guys, and green crap littered all over the bottom. Very few fishes around.

Should have fished north instead where I KNOW the fish are at, but then I probably wouldn't have bothered trying to catch a Pike from the DPR.

Maybe next week.

Based on the building in the background of one of your walleye shots, I know exactly where you were.

I told my boss he needs to get there now, the walleye are running.

He probably won't listen.
