4/9/10 Fox Batavia Geneva St.Charles
First stop the mouth of mill creek. Jig and twister with a couple lures mixed in saw no action. Worked from the mouth up to the trail bridge without even a sign of life. Decided against going up the creek as the water seemed a little to high and moving to fast for my liking, it was probably in perfect condition today.
Next Geneva. This time stayed just with the jig and twister and concentrated tight to shore looking for any current break. Made my way down past the railroad tracks and the discharge picking apart the rocks on shore with nothing to show for it except a couple carp scales.
Last St. Charles. A lot of people were fishing here and based on what had happend at the previous two spots i knew i wasnt going to catch anything but i tried anyways. Again concentrating on all the rip rap along shore not a single hit
Discouraging to say the least but i will be back out when i get the chance.
You can never fish the same river twice, by the time you get back it's not the same river.

I think you should have gone further up the creek. The hell with the water levels.
Was thinking of hitting the river today, now I'm not so sure.
You must have been doing something wrong.
