Dupage 4/18 late report

East and West Branches plus the main stem, not much to look at sometimes, but an astonishing fishery.

Dupage 4/18 late report

Post by Frank Macikas »

A little late but heres my last report from another site. I couldnt figure out how to post pics that werent showing up huge so I will add a link to my photo album on facebook for anyone who is interested.

Wow after how frustrating the beginning of this year has been today made up for it in spades!!!! Fished from noon to around five and managed around 11 fish and missed quite a few more. The best part is they were all NICE fish!! Fish were everywhere; shallow, deep, fast, slow, eddies, holes, laydowns EVERYWHERE! Most were taken on a strike king bleeding tube and a few on a power craw. I have not seen that many fish on the duper in awhile. There was also ALOT of carp out there today as well feeding on top in the afternoon; makes me think about picking up a fly rod this year. Anyway these are the pics I managed with getting used to the whole tmer thing. I had a mini tripod that I picked up somewhere but couldnt find it before I got out the door today.

Nice, I should quit driving past it everyday and stop there already.

I have a joke picture posting thing up on the blog.
Been meaning to do a real one and never get to it.

In a nutshell, there's no reason to post big pics.
Final image size should b 6" X 8" and 72 ppi.
Makes the perfect size for posting, nice small file size, and on computer screens it's more than enough to see everything you want to see.
