Talked to Dale today about what other kind of info he wants from people. He'd like to start doing reports on the DuPages. He's gone back and forth on that for awhile, but we were talking about all the trail systems along the 3 rivers and how urban it all is and decided now would be a good time to start something.
So, I know Bill, Sam and now Frank fish it the most. Anyone else that wants to can join in. If you guys want to feed Dale reports, he would appreciate it. You can be relatively vague. Fished a stretch through Bolingbrook, or Plainfield, or Shorewood. That's a lot of water and you know the average guy is going to be wondering where the dams are.
The key is consistent and reliable reports.
I try to get him everything by midnight Monday. For his blog it can go into Tuesday, but for the paper end of Monday is better. Keep it short and don't worry about how things are phrased, he shortens them when he needs to anyway. If you get carried away with a post like I do you can always send him a link to the post. But always give him some short summary of the fishing so he can put it right to use.
Here's his email address: outdoordb@sbcglobal.net
Tell him I sent you and that you're from this site.
