looking for recipes

That's what this one is about. If you're planning on fishing and want company, put that here. If the fish talk you have to say doesn't fit anywhere else, that can go here too.

Di is doing fine, she's just tired and aching this week. She blows it off, I lose sleep over it.

I love a good back and forth where guys are mentally sparring with each other. That's why I don't put brakes on people here. Name calling I won't put up with, but mental gymnastics can be entertaining.

Marc's sign off in this mornings email, I won't bother with the rest of what was sent:
Just sharing my thoughts after I went over there and did some reading. Thought it was odd. Glad I never wasted my time over there before today. The arrogance and self love is more than I could handle more than once a year. Kind of sorry that Chuck pointed me in it's direction, made me change my perspective on some folks I know that float around on the net.

Sorry I bothered you with this nonsense.
Yeah, ya think?

I wish I would have seen what started all of this. I would have probably enjoyed it. I have no clue why I suddenly need to be informed of someone's thoughts on someone else though. Like I care. And if this is centered all around Andrew and FHQ, a few of us older guys have tried to give him hints on how to conduct himself if he wants to try to make a living in the fishing industry. We only happen to know everyone in the industry and how they are going to react. If Andrew doesn't want to listen, oh well.

It's dead now. I just can't stand when someone tells me I've lowered my standards. The ridiculously high standards I like to think I set for myself is what has made me a target over the years. At least that's what my brain is telling me. Maybe I'm delusional.

I don't know about anyone else, but there is no point sitting around here sending out resumes today. Everyone will be in holiday weekend mode and will be paying absolutely no attention. No one will answer there phone. No calls will get returned.

I'm going creek fishing. Times a wastin' . . .

You are not delusional.

I tried to apologize once more, and somehow managed to make things worse.

I don't know why there is so much hate in this man's heart.......

If it doesn't just blow over, blame me. I am the new "e-punching bag" - wail away.

I'm just going to fish and maybe post a few nice pictures now and then. Oh wait, can't even do that anymore without causing strife.

Where is that hole I crawled out of, I think I left my cozy pillow in there......

Don't worry about it on this end. You'd have to start killing babies for me to worry about you.

I've been on sites for 14 years. Rob is close behind me. You get used to this shit. We've seen it on all the sites . . . over and over and over.

Since I know all the owners and once considered them good friends, for some reason they feel the need to send me things like Marc did. Marc is a good guy. Don't know why people get bugs up their asses. But then, look how I react when certain assholes won't go away. We all have our limits I guess.

I won't be hearing about this again from him. I'd be surprised if I did.

With the last thing I went through with a couple of months ago with Eric and another guy, Chauncey was in the loop with the bad mouthing about me. He called to give me advice on how to deal with it. Don't go back and forth with them, just smile, nod, say thanks and walk away.

Go fishing, write about, leave it on the blog Andrew gave you. Stay out of the nonsense unless you're good friends with everyone involved. They would get the humor. Otherwise it just spirals out of control.

That is e-gold.

With that said I think in a mild amount of time all will be at least breathable for both parties in the same "room".

I'm over it.

As for CTA (I know this will get back to him so I will cut the nonsense)It's nice to have a place like that where you can go to see "recent reports" and not feel obligated to give anything back. I still have friends over there, and they still like to hear from me now and then.

FHQ is like a blood bank for my thoughts. I can let it drain over there and someone will take the info and use it. Probably say thanks too. We can all say what we want to say, and still shake hands the next day when we fish together.

Ken's place here is like an AA meeting for those of us tired of the b.s. everywhere else. Sometimes being brutally honest is the best way to open someone's eyes. Thanks Ken.

New month and new agenda - Daddy needs a new pair of waders....... just so happens Father's Day is this month. Coincidence? I think not!

See you out on the water gentlemen.

See here is the funny part.
My poke was directly at Ed in the forehead!
poke poke poke!

Not at anyone else..
Just pointing out his turblence like he already knew..
better him than me, or least until i stumble into the dog house for his enjoyment.
*
gotta say.
for all this e-interaction..
big brother is always watching, or at the least his buddy..
who will tell what he saw and read to copy/paste..

i've learned some folks will never change and i won't spend 1 minute
compromising my day to give them that time.

Thats 1 minute wasted not thinking about family or fishing.

my remedy for chigger bite:
Its there and bothersome but if you don't let yourself think about it...
it goes way..

My mom described herself and me as brutally honest a long time ago. I try to control it, but it gets difficult at times. The rest of my family avoids sitting near the two of us at family gatherings. But my mom and I are the ones doing the most laughing. My daughters get a kick out of it.

This past weekend my mother was talking to my 15 year old daughter, I hear my mom say . . . the guy is 6 foot 4, could you imagine the size of his penis . . . I had to break in with . . . mom, she's fifteen, I don't even want her to know what a penis is let alone imagining the size of one.

My daughter thought the whole conversation was hilarious. She filled me in with other details on the way home. I should have started listening in much earlier.

Being brutally honest probably doesn't make me a whole lot of friends, but maybe I didn't need them as ones anyway.

My remedy for chiggers is to coat them with a couple of layers of nail polish or NuSkin and suffocate them till they die. They go away faster that way.

Well crafted arguments are my nail polish.
