Hey Norm

And you can do that here. Off fishing topic and off the wall subjects and plain bitch sessions. Sometimes you just need to have an outlet. Only registered users can see this forum.

Hey Norm

Read on the ISA site about your tune up.
Hope everything comes out in your favor.

My own personal take on it. . . if I ever have to go through something like that, I'll take the bypass. No stop gap measures. I've known enough people now that had bypasses and they're all doing fine. My mom had stents put in a few years ago and she's running into the same issue you are. She told the doctors she wanted a bypass the first time, they told her no. She's pissed.

Walking the shore and fishing is more stressful than being in the water and fishing, isn't it? Or is that just me. I don't get the no wading part. ;)

Ken,

The doc told me today full steam ahead after the angio. A bit more blockage, stents all working. Medication, exercise, weight loss and more modifications in diet.

I prefer to be in the water but even the cricks down here aren't safe to be in. Walking the shore and fishing slackwater pockets on a river still beats fishing still water hands down.

Next problem to solve is the car, prolly about to croak.
What a long, strange trip it still is .

Put a glide in your stride, a dip in your hip and come onto the mother ship .

Better the car than you. ;)

The Fox is the only river in the northern third of the state that is now wadeable and in good shape. Even the Apple is blown out.

If you're car was up to speed, I know a perfect stretch that wouldn't stress you out much. :P

I thought you already did the the whole weight loss, exercise, diet change routine? Have you been cheating or just genetics.

The way you and I wade is exercise. We can still out do the pups of the river.

Coffee, ice cream and Helmann's mayonaise. And I refuse to give up any of them. A man has to have his vices.
