This should annoy the piss out of me for a few weeks while I figure out the bells and whistles.

One REAL annoying thing is the fact that if I leave a post here with pictures, and then want the same on the blog, I have to cut and paste all the image links MINUS THE IMAGE TAGS BECAUSE HEAVEN FORBID THEY SHOULD BEHAVE LIKE EVERY OTHER PHP BASED BULLETIN TYPE BOARD ON EARTH AND ACTUALLY RECOGNIZE IMAGE TAGS.
Like I need MORE work.
I have a feeling the blog won't have a whole hell of a lot of pictures included.
We'll see.
Oh fun

hahaha - I am familiar with your frustration.
You'll get it. If you have any ? just call. It only took me 11 months to figure it out.

I'm new with wordpress as well Ken. I found it easiest to upload your pics to Googles Picasa program. Then use the url option when uploading. That's what I do.
I also agree about the html code crap!! Ra-tards!

Re: Oh fun
I use Coppermine for images. It works almost seamlessly with php bulletin boards. When you view an image, it gives you the url WITH IMAGE TAGS IN PLACE so all you have to do is copy and paste that into your post.
Now I have to remove the image tags, open still another mediocre archaic image insert page (why not give me the option to have the URL tab show up on top instead of making me click on it every friggin time), paste it into that and eventually I get to post the whole damn thing.
Nobody reads all the way down to the bottom of the things anyway. I think I'm going to start limiting myself to 2 paragraph reports with one picture.
