Hey guys, new to the waterdog journal, I have the whole week off and will be going on some wading trips on the Fox and it's tributaries in the Aurora Montgomery area. I wound up blowing today off. Didn't feel like dealing with the constant drizzle. I haven't fished North Ave. since they took the dam out and Nicor did all that rebuilding a few years ago.

There's a couple of spots I like around there, unfortunately the higher water kept me away from them. Ended up at the ponds jiggin and trappin and whatnot. I don't like wandering out too far into water above my waist by myself, I would rather be a victim than a missing person. There are some really dangerous fast areas in those pools. I'm game to fish this area any weekday morning from now on if anyone wants to do some urban angling.
