BUFFALO CREEK
Has anybody fished it recently? I tried it this weekend, but did even get a bite? By the way, I was fishing the creek outflow, since the lake was all frozen.

You might be on your own on this one. Unless someone else knows anything about it. This time of year getting anything out of a creek could be difficult. Fish generally head out to a main river.
I do know that the upper stretch of the Des Plaines is supposed to hold a pretty good population of pike and large mouth bass. I'm basing that on someone I knew years ago that fished it. Other than that, I can't remember what bridges over the Des Plaines he used to stop at.
It's been a long time since I've heard of anyone doing it. Might be up to you to find out.
