I have this vague memory of you telling me about fishing Batavia years ago for cats.

Big ol' bobber, it goes down, pops back up and the fish hook themselves. Always wanted to try that.

If it weren't near the crap plant, I would have considered keeping the one I caught. If I ever get one out of the creeks again, it's dinner. That happened a couple of years ago at my creek spot nine miles inland.

I'm done with WCF after Eric's last appearance. Cranked and a few others jumped on the bandwagon. Found out since a couple are ISA buddies. I don't need that nonsense anymore. It's just fishing.

Some real a-holes over there on WCF, not like me, I'm a smartass perpetrating as an a-hole. Couple of those guys are the real deal.

I'll stay there since there and here are the only places that'll still have me.

We'll see how long that lasts though...

We should start a pool to see which site kicks you off first.

Get a big enough pot and I could be persuaded to "help" one of you out... :D

Put a big enough chunk of change in my PayPal account and he'll be gone in about 15 minutes. :P

Whats The ISA? It just gets too weird for me I like to think I'm an easy going guy... BUT.... As the Brothers in Bellwood used to say" U one crazy Peckerwood" I always thought that was a good thing... Funny thing is I never EVER hardly post I felt like I was Fish fodder for the masses. Doesn't matter in the long run but ... it still pissed me off. Just a warning when I can walk and wade again I may post my first internet fish pictures, there are a couple floating around but I didn't take them.

I saw that FM. Pretty silly thread. I think the lack of warm water's got everyone's dander up a bit...

I'm just happy to see any catfish thread!

And Ken - still thinking about a day to get down your way. I'll make it eventually. Love to see those flathead spots, but also check out the smallies on your stretch. I've only seen Yorkville whizzing by in a car. We take 47 to visit the folks in Dixie.

Kev, I'll have to dig out some old photos of you. I have them around somewhere. Gotta be ten years old at least. Back from your Bellwood days.

Sam, you let me know what you think is the ideal time of year to go looking for them. You're going to love this stretch even below my house. I can give you directions to other places further north so you don't have to travel as far, you can hit them at your liesure. The whole Glenwood/Les Arends stretch. I'll mark up one of my maps. We should get Kev to go with, he'd like this. He's the only other one I know that actually targets catfish.

The more the merrier. I fished with CB just north of Les Arends. I don't get down that way very often, but am looking for more secluded waters for the weekends. We're already getting overcrowded up here. That's why I'm a Monday fisherman.
